West McArthur is CanAlaska Uranium’s flagship uranium project, located in the eastern Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan, Canada, between roughly 6 and 30 kilometres west of Cameco’s producing McArthur River mine, the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. The project is operated by CanAlaska as a joint venture with Cameco Corporation. Exploration is focused on high-grade unconformity-style uranium mineralization, with the company advancing the Pike Zone discovery through ongoing diamond drilling programs.
