In June 2026, Consolidated Lithium Metals signed a term sheet with Linear Minerals Corp. to acquire a 100 % interest in the Augustus Lithium Project and additional adjacent claims in the Abitibi and James Bay regions of Québec. The project package comprises 449 mineral claims (358 in Abitibi, 91 in James Bay) covering roughly 215 km². The Augustus project is located adjacent to the North American Lithium mine, described by the company as the largest lithium producer in North America. The agreed transaction value is about C$2.75 million in cash and shares, with closing subject to due diligence, a definitive agreement and regulatory approvals.
