Project
Torq Resources’ flagship asset is the Santa Cecilia gold-copper project, located in the Maricunga belt of northern Chile, approximately 100 kilometres east of Copiapo and in the vicinity of the Norte Abierto project (Caspiche and Cerro Casale deposits) held by Newmont and Barrick. In a 2025 transaction with Gold Fields, the major gained a staged option to earn into up to a 75% indirect interest in Santa Cecilia by funding up to USD 48 million over a period of up to six years. The company also holds the Margarita iron-oxide-copper-gold project near Copiapo and the Andrea copper porphyry project in northern Chile.
