Oroco Resource Corp.’s flagship asset is the Santo Tomás copper project, an advanced-stage porphyry copper deposit located in the municipality of Choix, in northwestern Mexico, where it straddles the border of the states of Sinaloa and Chihuahua near the Fuerte River. The deposit hosts fracture-hosted and disseminated copper and molybdenum sulphides with gold and silver credits. An August 2024 mineral resource estimate by SRK Consulting outlined an Indicated Resource of 540.6 Mt at 0.37% CuEq and an Inferred Resource of 530.3 Mt at 0.35% CuEq. An updated Preliminary Economic Assessment contemplates a staged open-pit operation over a 22.6-year mine life with an after-tax NPV (8%) of approximately US$1.48 billion.
